About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Part-Time associate to join our team at Lowe's. As a Cashier, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional customer experience, ensuring every customer exits on a high note.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service at the register, showcasing great customer service and engaging with customers to provide guidance during checkout.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Answer customer questions and provide a professional experience for customers, identifying and selling products based on customer needs.
  • Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently, managing a cash register, payments, and exchanges.

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • Minimum 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a cashier, salesperson, or retail associate, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • Customer-focused and goal-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
