Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting echocardiographic examinations with precision.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography.
  • Registered in adult echocardiography.
  • Experience with Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, and TEE.
  • Proficient with Phillips equipment.
  • Certifications: BCLS, RDCS – Adult, RCS, RDCS – Peds (preferred).

Preferred Experience:

  • Pediatric Echo, 3D Echo, and Stress Echocardiograms.
  • Familiarity with Siemens and GE equipment.
Additional Information
  • Charting Systems: Cerner & Ascend
  • Patient Ratio: Typically 6 Echo Techs, maximum of 8.
  • Floating Policy: Potential to float to nearby facilities.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required per facility guidelines.
  • Flu Vaccine: Required with medical exemptions only.
