Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technician IV to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in adult and pediatric echocardiography, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a high level of technical skills in echocardiography and provide expertise to ensure technically adequate exams.
  • Leadership: Oversee the daily operation of the echocardiography laboratory, direct workflow, and ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Education and Training: Develop and implement a continuing education program, train new employees, and provide necessary assistance and education materials.
  • Quality Assurance: Evaluate echocardiography studies, provide input on performance levels of staff, and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree with 3 years of cardiac echo experience required.
  • Certifications: RDMS certification in adult, pediatric, and fetal echocardiography, BCLS certification, and licensure by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire.
