Key Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient health by gathering medical histories and current health status.
  • Identify patient and family needs, providing education and resources to enhance understanding and care.
  • Facilitate seamless clinical operations and patient care coordination.
  • Manage patient inquiries and document pertinent information accurately.
  • Enhance communication between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Assist patients in accessing community resources.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the following:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Prior oncology experience is highly desirable.
  • Current RN state license in the practicing state.
  • Ability to work in a clinical environment with potential exposure to various health risks.
