Resident Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our Water US, Construction Management Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize your knowledge of engineering and construction principles to analyze project requirements and develop solutions.
- Oversee construction personnel to ensure compliance with contract documents and company procedures.
- Perform engineering calculations and provide technical input to ensure project components meet engineering requirements.
- Prepare cash flow calculations and monitor contractor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Perform other construction oversight duties, including ensuring performance of work conforms to contract documents and making engineering judgments in response to Requests for Information.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology, or Associate's degree or technical school certification in a relevant field with 4+ years of qualifying experience.
- Ability to make decisions affecting cost and performance of work.
- Understanding and evaluation of contract documents, including contract drawings, information for bidders, general conditions, technical specifications, and payment items.
- Familiarity with construction scheduling and estimating techniques and software.
- Working knowledge of operation and use of construction equipment.
