Job Summary

The Estimating Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Estimating Department in coordinating projects and documentation to ensure accurate bids. This position will work closely with Estimators and Project Managers to manage and distribute documents, organize bid items, and complete prequalification packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and distribute documents related to the bidding and proposal process
  • Organize bid items electronically in HeavyJobs and Vista
  • Complete prequalification packages and support Estimators in their bids
  • Create and maintain project bid lists, Estimating Team Pre-Construction Database, and vendor/subcontractor information in company database
  • Assist in preparing project bid packages and enter estimates in HeavyBid based on RFPs submitted by project management
  • Document procurement using SAP and perform job setup for major and routine emergency call outs
  • Compile and submit Subcontractor and Supplier Utilization Plan (Exhibit 1a) and research new bid opportunities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience
  • Ability to read and understand Contract Documents, including contract drawings, specifications, and request for proposal/qualifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record
