We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including surgical patients and those requiring post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical-surgical nursing.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure that all needs are met and concerns addressed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctoral degree preferred.
  • Oregon RN license upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting, preferably in medical-surgical nursing.
