Job Title: Senior Hardware Software QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Software QA Engineer to join our team at Kohler Ventures. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware and software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish testing patterns and best practices to increase test coverage in partnership with engineers.
  • Conduct technical reviews for new features and identify quality concerns.
  • Participate in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, estimates, or potential problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer.
  • Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for hardware components.
  • Experience with test automation tools/frameworks for hardware/firmware validation.
  • Experience validating embedded firmware for IoT devices.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into test plans and develop test automations at all layers.
  • Availability to work outside of standard business hours to collaborate with teams and vendors across multiple time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in hardware/firmware and information security for cloud and IoT devices.
  • Experience in development using script programming language, Python preferred.
