About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our team at Kohler Ventures. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Software, software/hardware engineering team, and product teams to build a forward-looking vision and lead the effort to ensure the entire development lifecycle takes a quality-first approach.
  • Deploy and integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline, establishing testing patterns, best practices, and increasing test coverage in partnership with engineers.
  • Conduct technical reviews for new features and identify quality concerns, participating in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, estimates, or potential problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer.
  • Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience with test automation tools/frameworks for Node, server API, such as Jest, Cucumber.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into test plans and develop test automations at all layers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge in software and hardware/firmware and information security for cloud and IoT devices.
  • Experience in development using script programming language, Python preferred.
