Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide therapy services that support students in developing effective communication skills. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement speech and language therapy sessions, assist in developing and modifying therapy materials and activities, and monitor and document student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement speech and language therapy sessions as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist in developing and modifying therapy materials and activities to meet the needs of students.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to the SLP.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student success.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to setting student goals.

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid Texas SLPA license.
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
