About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Chiller Apprentice to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and general servicing of mechanical HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine service and inspections of HVAC mechanical equipment, including changing and servicing filters, adjusting or replacing belts, and cleaning cooling towers, coils, and condenser tubes.
  • Perform mechanical systems operation under contract with customers.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities.
  • Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to represent Johnson Controls to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Ability to understand technical information.
  • Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on a job site.
