About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Control Associate, Analytical Specialist to join our team at Wacker Chemical. As a key member of our analytical laboratory, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine analytical testing to support Operations and Process Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing with some supervision.
  • Develop, qualify, and validate moderately complex analytical testing following international guidelines and client requirements.
  • Perform routine laboratory maintenance, including monthly cleaning procedures and monitoring disposable equipment and reagent supplies.
  • Prioritize daily tasks related to operations, technology transfers, analytical testing, and validation.
  • Document and investigate any out-of-specification results, deviations, or investigations.
  • Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under data integrity guidelines.
  • Train new analysts on analytical assays and SOPs.
  • Assist Quality Assurance in ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with product development and manufacturing on tech transfer activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's of Science Degree in Biological Sciences, Bioengineering, or Chemistry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 0+ with a Master's.
  • Up to 5% travel required.
  • Accountable for work performed, productive within the company, and exemplify effective teamwork skills.
  • Capable of reading, understanding, and adhering to relevant test methods, SOPs, and industry guidelines.
  • Knowledgeable in basic chemistry and analytical principles.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Sound scientific judgment with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
