Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Inventory Control Supervisor, proficient in both Spanish and English, to manage the processes of ordering, storing, receiving, and distributing our products and supplies. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of materials and ensuring efficient inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inventory assessments; identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee the stock item database, correcting inaccuracies in descriptions and stock numbers.
  • Assist order processors by locating items with incorrect locations or stock numbers.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Management and Operations Teams regarding new items and inventory counts.
  • Monitor levels of raw materials and supplies to identify shortages.
  • Document daily shipments and deliveries to maintain inventory levels.
  • Generate detailed reports on inventory adjustments and stock levels.
  • Evaluate new inventory to ensure readiness for shipping.
  • Order supplies judiciously to prevent excess or inefficiencies.
  • Analyze supplier options to secure cost-effective agreements.
  • Design and implement an inventory tracking system to enhance control procedures.
  • Recruit and train new staff members.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ensure the facility's equipment and materials are organized and clean.
  • Manage required physical inventories.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to accurately code relevant documents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Strong familiarity with SAP and WMS is preferred.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment at a managerial level.
  • Proficient in using WMS extensively.
  • Experience in P&L management.
  • Ability to work with numerical data and perform basic mathematical operations for reporting and analysis.
  • Effective time management skills with a focus on setting clear objectives.
  • Experience managing a large team across multiple shifts.
  • Knowledge of workforce management and industry best practices.
