Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Painter to join our team at Fresh Coat Painters of Augusta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare areas to be painted by cleaning, scraping, sanding, pressure washing, patching, and masking adjacent surfaces.
  2. Maintain inventory of paint, brushes, and other painting supplies according to management's instructions.
  3. Paint areas as instructed by maintenance supervisors or property managers, utilizing appropriate finishes and applications.
  4. Follow OSHA/MSDS guidelines for hazardous chemicals and use proper ventilation when using paint removers, varnishes, cleaners, etc.
  5. Familiarize yourself with storage and disposal laws, regulations, codes, etc.
  6. Thoroughly clean areas, supplies, and equipment when projects are completed.
  7. Puts remaining paint and supplies in proper locations.
  8. May assist with special maintenance or marketing projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous painting experience and bilingual applicants (English & Spanish preferred, but not required).
  • Reliability and dependability.

  • Leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow health and safety protocols.
