Responsibilities

  • Provide care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner
  • Complete comprehensive nursing assessments of residents on admission and on an ongoing basis
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Document resident care and updates in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and safety

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
  • Experience in a long-term care setting preferred
