Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. As a per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work on your own with support available anytime you need it, build your own schedule and mile radius, and enjoy a dynamic company partnership to ensure career stability.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
  • Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
  • Document patient's daily participation and progress on progress note in an accurate and timely fashion and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
  • Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications, and discharges.
  • Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited college with a BA or associate degree in Occupational Therapy that the AOTA recognizes.
  • Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated COTA (if state mandated)
  • COTA holds a current license and/or registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in-state as applicable.
