Our facility is equipped to handle not just dogs and cats, but also a variety of other species including horses, cows, llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, rabbits, and more.

Overview:

As a Reception Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Handling incoming and outgoing calls for appointment scheduling.

Effectively managing multiple tasks in a calm and organized manner.

Maintaining accurate documentation of client and pet records, including referral documents and medical histories.


Providing clients with necessary information, instructions, and invoices, as well as dispensing medications as directed by the veterinarian and scheduling follow-up appointments.

Utilizing hospital management software to document medical records and facilitate communication with clients and team members.


Overseeing the financial operations of the clinic by accurately processing client transactions, adhering to cash and credit card handling protocols, and following proper opening and closing procedures.

Delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a high level of professional communication.

Advocating for animal health through client education on preventive care, health needs, treatment options, and available services.

Upholding a positive demeanor in all interactions with clients, pets, and colleagues.

Exhibiting empathy towards clients and treating all animals with compassion and respect.

Responsibilities / Qualifications:
Proficient use of standard office equipment.

Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and procedures.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Experience with veterinary management software is preferred.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while also accepting guidance on various assignments.

Strong organizational skills.


Critical thinking skills to evaluate various solutions and approaches to challenges.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
