Job Summary

Good Shepherd Services, Ltd. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing personalized support and care to residents in a supportive living environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assistance with Daily Living Activities: Provide assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, mobility, and care of ADL devices.
  • Instrumental Activities of Daily Living: Assist with housekeeping tasks, laundry, mail delivery, and resident transportation.
  • Medication Assistance: Monitor medication supplies and administer medications as needed.
  • Health Monitoring and Maintenance: Observe and report changes in residents' physical condition, cognitive, and emotional status.
  • Dining and Nutrition: Assist with meal preparation and serving, encouraging independence and promoting a positive dining experience.
  • Activity Program: Participate in and support the resident-centered activity program, including transportation for activities and appointments.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Respond to and act appropriately in emergency situations.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, empathetic, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,760 - $47,120 based on a 48-hour workweek, including every other weekend and holiday shift differential. Benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development, competitive compensation package, and a supportive work environment.
