Merchandise Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products on our sales floor.
Key Responsibilities- Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure timely and accurate processing of merchandise.
- Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
- Monitor productivity of the team and provide coaching as necessary to ensure tasks are completed according to store plan.
- Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment and maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area.
- Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs, and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, and promote credit and loyalty programs to drive sales and customer engagement.
- 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Capable of multi-tasking and responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Team player with excellent customer service skills.
At HomeGoods, we offer a competitive starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
