Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused driver to join our team at Sampson County. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely and reliably transporting passengers to various locations within the Sampson County area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a motor vehicle to ensure safe transportation of clients
  • Drive vehicles on designated routes and out-of-town medical appointments
  • Report any need for vehicle maintenance and record mileage and times on forms
  • Collect and account for fares and assist clients as needed
  • Lift up to 60 pounds

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid NC Driver's license
  • Meet qualifications as set out in Sampson County's Vehicle Fleet Policy
  • Pass a FTA pre-employment drug test

Working Conditions: The schedule will vary from week to week, and the driver will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
