We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
- Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and ventilator management.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and adjust therapy as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
- Graduate of a respiratory care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
