· Supervise the processes of tissue preparation, embedding, sectioning, staining, and high-resolution imaging, ensuring meticulous specimen handling and precise digital documentation.

· Coordinate histology requests from initiation to completion, maintaining effective communication and providing constructive feedback.

· Manage logistics for clinical and non-clinical sample handling, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

· Implement quality control measures to maintain histological standards, including equipment maintenance, adherence to best practices, accurate sample management, troubleshooting, and data verification.

· Offer expertise and support to research scientists on histological methodologies while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Histotechnology, Biology, Pathology, or a related discipline.

· Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is mandatory.

· At least 5 years of experience in a histology laboratory environment.

· High level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a dedication to client satisfaction.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

Compensation:

Salary range: $87,626 – $109,546 (Dependent on Experience)
