The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design efforts on bridge projects, including bridge design, analysis, and inspection.
  • Manage projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other project managers and market leaders to develop new business opportunities and prepare technical proposals.
  • Participate in business development and marketing activities, including project pursuit interviews and client meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, structural) with 10+ years of bridge engineering experience.
  • Licensed engineer to practice structural engineering specific to bridge design in the state of primary practice or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
  • Experience with transportation projects and public agencies in North Dakota and Minnesota preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Office products and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
