LPN, Licensed Practical Nurse

New Perspective Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Long Grove. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Plan, monitor, and administer nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Oversee nursing care and procedures, collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Act as a resource in the absence of the Director of Wellness and RN, providing guidance on state and federal regulations, quality care standards, and accepted practices.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly tasks lists, prioritizing responsibilities and managing time effectively.
- Perform all necessary LPN duties as required by state regulations, maintaining compliance and adhering to established protocols.
- Assist in monitoring and training caregivers for all clinical issues in the community, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Conduct retention activities to ensure adequate levels of engaged team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Communicate and interact with residents, families, and team members in a kind, respectful, and effective manner, championing hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, including Town Hall and departmental meetings, staying informed and contributing to decision-making processes.
- A current and unencumbered LPN license.
- Strong computer skills and ability to interact with a variety of electronic devices.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language.
