Job Summary

The Associate Director of Forecasting and Market Insights will provide strategic and analytical support to the commercial organization by developing and maintaining accurate and timely forecasts of product demand. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify key business drivers and develop insights that inform commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term forecasts of product demand, including identification of key drivers and assumptions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement forecasting models and methodologies
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure forecast accuracy and commercial performance
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to commercial leadership on forecast performance and market trends
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics, business analytics)
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on business analysis and forecasting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, SAS, R)
