Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandising Specialist to join our team at L&R Distributors. As a key member of our sales and inventory team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our retail partners have the products they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Store Routes: Work closely with our District Manager to service store routes according to assigned call frequencies.
  • Ordering and Inventory Management: Place orders for required inventory according to store ordering guidelines, utilizing a company-supplied tablet and scanner leveraging Repsly software.
  • Merchandising and Display: Follow a specific store visit process inclusive of merchandising delivery from the previous order, filling out task forms, taking pictures, ordering to maintain stock levels, and other special projects as requested.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Maintain efficient communication with Store Associates upon each store visit, verify merchandise shipments upon receipt, and provide consistent professional communication with Store Management and Store Associates.
  • Store Audits and Surveys: Conduct store surveys and audits per request, including taking photographs of assigned departments to solve store issues.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D; previous merchandising or retail experience a plus.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle: Must have a valid driver's license and own personal vehicle for driving to and from stores.
  • Computer and Internet: Computer or smartphone with an internet connection.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
