We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Burn ICU team at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care services.
- Conduct hiring, training, and development of staff, as well as evaluate their performance.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services, and develop policies and procedures to improve unit operations.
- Monitor and adhere to budget, approving or monitoring expenditures and purchases to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
- Licensure: BLS Provider certification and Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
- Education: Required professional licensure/certification and 3 years of experience, including 1 year of cumulative leadership experience.
- Experience: Experience in burn nursing is necessary for this position.
