Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team in Grafton, Wisconsin.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our 24/7 Intensive Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Anticipate and recognize significant changes in patient condition, status, and need for care, and alter the plan of care as needed.
- Implement strategies to reduce patient risk and increase patient safety.
- Apply evidence-based practice to deliver patient care, consistently incorporating nursing and regulatory standards of care into practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
- Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
- Proficient computer skills, use of electronic mail and electronic medical records systems.
- Demonstrates coordination, collaboration, delegation, and team building skills.
