The Nurse-Resident role is a dynamic opportunity for new graduate nurses to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and challenging environment. As a member of the ICU Progressive Care team, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse to refine your nursing practice and provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Attend quality and core curriculum classes to enhance your nursing knowledge and skills
- Participate in professional development workshops and peer support groups to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Successfully complete all clinical competencies and validation requirements of the Nurse Residency Program
- Work under the direct and indirect supervision of the Clinical Education Team to refine your nursing knowledge and skills
- Actively participate in managing clinical situations and provide care under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing required
- Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina; BLS required
