We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dermatology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. As a key member of our Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Biology, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory setting to general medical dermatology patients under collaborative agreement with department physicians.
- Develop and implement individual plans of care, including writing initial histories, assessing patients' conditions, and ordering appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Phone triage of patient calls, providing education, and treating dermatologic patients on a contract basis with the VA Medical Center in Wilmington, DE.
- Supervise Medical Assistants as needed and interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the University.
- Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objective, quality assurance program, safety environmental and infection control standards.
- Master's Degree
- National Board Certification as a Primary/Family Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- BLS certification
- 1-5 years of experience in Dermatology (Preferred)
