Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, CO.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sonography procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, analyzing results and identifying issues with imaging quality.
- Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including re-positioning patients and repeating procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
