Key Responsibilities- Provide various ultrasound procedures to patients, adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Contribute to the secure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation.
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
- Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
