Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Prepare and maintain patient medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
  • Conduct pre-visit planning, reviewing patient charts and updating records as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing referrals
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on patient care and administrative support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records
