As a veterinary receptionist, you will serve as the initial point of contact for clients visiting or calling our facility. This role demands excellent communication abilities, strong customer service skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist pet owners upon their arrival
- Provide exceptional service to clients, treating them with respect and care
- Check in pets for their scheduled appointments
- Gather and verify pet and owner information
- Handle phone calls, respond to emails, and send text messages
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
- Process payments accurately
- Advocate for our clients and their pets
- Collaborate with the team to share and implement innovative ideas for hospital growth
- Show a willingness to expand knowledge in veterinary medicine
- Ensure efficient operations at the front desk
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary-related role
- Veterinary Customer Service Representative certification preferred but not mandatory
- Positive, friendly, and enthusiastic demeanor
- Strong communication skills with clients and team members

- Proficient in computer operations, scheduling software, and related technologies
