Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 Pm - 7:00 Am), 3 Shifts Per Week, 36 Scheduled Hours
Salary Range: $32.00 - $53.00 Per Hour, Based On Experience
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 For Rns With 2+ Years Of Experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated registered nurse to join our intermediate care unit (imcu) and telemetry team for night shifts. As a registered nurse in this critical care area, you will oversee patient care, monitor vital signs and telemetry readings, and ensure timely and appropriate interventions. You will work closely with the healthcare team to assess patient conditions, create individualized care plans, and deliver safe, compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Detailed Clinical Assessments And Prioritize Patient And Family Needs
- Develop, Implement, And Evaluate Individualized Care Plans To Achieve Desired Patient Outcomes
- Monitor And Interpret Telemetry Data And Other Vital Signs To Detect Abnormal Trends
- Collaborate With Physicians And Interdisciplinary Team Members To Coordinate Patient Care
- Educate Patients And Families About Their Health Conditions And Provide Follow-Up Care Instructions
- Adhere To Nursing Protocols, Hospital Policies, And Regulatory Standards To Ensure Patient Safety
- Delegate Tasks To Nursing Staff And Monitor Completion, Ensuring Timely And Effective Care
- Document Patient Care And Assessments Accurately In Electronic Medical Records
- Actively Contribute To Continuous Improvement Efforts In The Unit
Qualifications:
- Graduate Of An Accredited Nursing Program
- Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In [State]
- Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification (Must Obtain Within 30 Days Of Hire)
- 2+ Years Of Recent Acute Care Experience In Imcu Or Telemetry (Preferred)
- Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Working With Diverse Teams And Patient Populations
- Proficiency With Electronic Medical Records And Microsoft Office
