We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe to join our reputable medical practice specializing in interventional pain management and rehabilitation. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) is essential for this role. Preference will be given to candidates with prior scribe experience, as well as those with a background in injury care and occupational health. Bilingual candidates are highly valued.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document patient visit encounters as per the provider's guidelines.
  • Assist medical providers during patient consultations as required.
  • Collaborate with providers during patient visits, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Organize and manage patient paperwork following visits, including imaging orders, referrals, prescriptions, and work status reports.
  • Prepare necessary documents for provider review prior to patient appointments.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Familiarity with SOAP notes is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a scribe is advantageous.

Compensation:

$18-20 per hour.
