Linux Systems Administrator Staff- Clearance Required

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for protecting our networks and systems from advanced threats.
Key Responsibilities- Provide full lifecycle support for Linux systems, including analysis, design, development, integration, testing, procurement, deployment, security, training, and sustainment.
- Configure and manage Linux operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot issues, maintain the integrity of network components, and implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted.
- Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience with Linux system administration, including configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and vSphere is beneficial.
- Ansible experience is preferred.
