Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock shelves and rotate items as necessary, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
  • Bring in carts from the parking lot, ensuring a clean and safe shopping experience for customers.
  • Maintain a neat and organized till, adhering to company standards and protocols.
  • Fill bag stations and stock registers with needed supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Pick up trash from the parking lot, contributing to a clean and safe environment.
  • Follow security procedures, maintaining the integrity and security of the store.
  • Perform night maintenance duties as directed, ensuring the store is secure and ready for the next day.
  • Adhere to company policy and local/state law on the sale of alcohol and tobacco products, maintaining a responsible and compliant approach.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by your manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to various weather conditions, including hot, cold, rain, snow, ice, and wind, as well as indoor work with variations in temperature, dust, and humidity.
  • Work in a fast-paced retail environment, requiring adaptability and a high level of energy.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently moves, lifts, and carries merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance, occasionally moving, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting with or without bearing weight.
  • Stands or walks continuously throughout the shift, maintaining a high level of energy and focus.

Qualifications & Other Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Minimum age requirement is 16 years old.
