Responsibilities

  • Compose legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, and draft correspondence.
  • Review and summarize records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Summarize discovery responses and draft standard discovery motions, demonstrating your research skills.
  • Conduct preliminary legal research as necessary, staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.

  • Perform other duties as requested, showcasing your adaptability and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Superior written and oral communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with court personnel, attorneys, and clients.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage time and multitask effectively, displaying problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Currently have taken and awaiting results of the California Bar exam, with a strong desire to start your legal career in insurance defense.
