Position Summary:
The Wisconsin Statewide Float Nurse will deliver temporary nursing services across various locations as assigned by the Statewide Clinical Director. This position is essential in planning, organizing, and overseeing hospice care while emphasizing community health education and practical experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all regulations outlined in the Nurse Practice Act
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients
  • Assess patient conditions and formulate care strategies
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Offer health education to patients and their families
  • Relay patient requirements to healthcare providers
  • Assist patients with their daily living tasks
  • Provide psychological support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with community health organizations to coordinate care
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
