Job Summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team of medical professionals. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist radiologists with mammography procedures, including cores, fine-needle aspirates (FNA's), and localizations.
  • Comply with all regulatory mandates for mammography.
  • Perform quality assurance on digital equipment as assigned.
  • Perform exams and assist radiologists in a teaching and research facility.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.
  • Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic techniques, methods, and equipment.
