Barista | Reunion Venice Beach

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Reunion Venice Beach, a culinary program that embodies Mediterranean coastal flavors. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized coffee station.

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea drinks, including specialty beverages
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to member and guest needs
• Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, including equipment and supplies
• Restock equipment and supplies as needed
• Develop a thorough working knowledge of coffee and tea menus and be able to articulate to guests
• Proficiently use POS for ordering and billing purposes
• Cash handling and communication skills with management executed with professionalism
• Execution of the order of service in a timely and accurate manner
• Thorough working knowledge of all beverages, including coffee, tea, non-alcoholic, wine, beer, and spirits
• Communicate with servers on orders to ensure delivery of drinks in a timely manner
• Impeccable customer service by responding promptly to member and guest needs
• Competency in conversing with Reunion members, guests, and potential members regarding our programs and amenities
• Set up and breakdown of the coffee station on a daily level
• Ability to lift/move up to 10lbs, frequently lift/move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs
• Able to work nights and weekends, which will be required with this role
• Committed to incredible teamwork and balance team and individual responsibilities

• 2+ years of experience as a Barista or similar role in luxury hospitality, food, and beverage environments
• Consistently provide thoughtful and personal service with the goal of developing a rapport with members and guests
• Ensure the coffee area is set and ready for service and always kept tidy
• Maintain cleanliness and restock equipment as needed
• Maintain thorough working knowledge of coffee and tea menus and be able to articulate to guests

• Salary Rate: $20.00 an hour
