Job Description

This role serves as a critical component of Citigroup's compliance risk management framework, focusing on the assessment and mitigation of significant compliance risks. The successful candidate will work closely with the Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) team to identify, assess, and report on compliance risks across various business lines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive compliance testing and reporting programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Participate in planning, executing, and reporting compliance testing reviews and validation activities for commodities, currencies, and sales portfolios.
  • Analyze and document report findings, facilitating preliminary discussions with control/process owners.
  • Utilize innovative compliance testing solutions, including data analytics and automation, to enhance value and reduce costs.
  • Foster effective relationships within the CIA function and with stakeholders, including business process owners and Internal Audit.
  • Identify industry best practices and share insights with the CIA team.
  • Inform CIA management of significant compliance matters requiring attention or action.
  • Provide compliance training resources and tools to support country/business compliance programs.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in compliance, legal, or other control-related functions.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and reporting compliance testing reviews and regulatory issue validation activities.
  • Knowledge of testing principles, including audit planning, risk assessments, and controls operating effectiveness testing.
  • Understanding of rules, laws, and regulations specific to financial services and asset classes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders and engaging teams.
  • Effectiveness in working within a large-scale matrix organization is essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

Citigroup offers a competitive salary range of $129,840.00 - $194,760.00, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the company provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs.
