Job Title: Construction Project Administrator

Ziply Fiber is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our OSP construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that outside plant construction work is performed to industry standards and meets requirements for cost and engineering expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform aerial and underground inspections, as well as audits of contractors, to ensure compliance with NESC and Ziply standards.
  • Assign and dispatch work to contract inspectors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement new processes, process documentation, and field software applications to improve inspection and correction methods.
  • Train contract personnel on accepted aerial plant inspection and correction methods, as well as associated field software applications.
  • Resolve issues and disputes with vendors, including bore-throughs, tree trimming, and other complaints from citizens impacted by fiber deployment.
  • Serve as a liaison with municipalities, addressing permitting, traffic control, and other concerns related to OSP work.
  • Process invoices and work within project workflow databases to review and process vendor invoicing.
  • Act as the first-level field approval for necessary changes found in the field, partnering with Engineering and vendor teams as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in OSP construction and/or OSP engineering.
  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with proficiency in developing forms, using internal and external hyperlinks, and performing simple functions.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
