Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Bernard Robinson & Company, LLP.

About the Role

This position is responsible for performing a wide range of diversified accounting and tax assignments with minimal assistance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and skills in taxation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with clients to gather necessary information for engagement completion.
  • Demonstrate skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty.
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to train staff accountants.
  • Review staff workpapers to ensure they meet standards.
  • Perform a broad range of accountant tasks to minimize supervisor involvement.
  • Evaluate performance and provide feedback to staff.
  • Actively pursue CPA license if not already obtained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or advanced degree.
  • Min. 1-2 years' experience as a staff accountant with International tax experience.
  • CPA certified or candidate.
  • Membership in AICPA and NCACPA, as applicable.
  • Proficiency in use of computers and accounting-related software programs.
  • Valid driver's license and good MVR.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
