Job Overview:
NTT DATA Services is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator to support our Health Information Project. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support for HEDIS Abstractors, collecting and entering member health information from medical records. This role involves communicating with provider offices, managing documentation, and assisting with data entry and project coordination.

About the Role:
This Medical Records Coordinator position is responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration between HEDIS Abstractors and providers. Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating with provider offices to obtain medical records
- Faxing provider member lists and documenting activity
- Assisting the HEDIS team with daily operations
- Handling incoming calls and printing samples/location pull lists for abstractors
- Printing and faxing requests for medical records to providers
- Troubleshooting logistics with providers and abstractors
- Data entry as needed to support the project

Requirements:
To succeed in this Medical Records Coordinator role, you should possess:
- Strong medical knowledge and terminology
- At least 1 year of experience with HEDIS and reviewing medical records
- Ability to read and interpret medical records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and Adobe Reader (if applicable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conscientious problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
