Pediatric Director of Estimating

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Pediatric Estimating to lead our team in Tampa, Florida.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership to our estimating team, ensuring timely and accurate estimates for pediatric care projects.
- Collaborate with technical directors to review and understand scopes for each estimate, ensuring a streamlined and consistent approach.
- Work closely with sales managers to evaluate priority of requested estimates and meet customer demands.
- Develop and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) for estimating employees, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Provide technical training to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Oversee annual review process within the department, ensuring fair and accurate evaluations.
- Recommend process improvements as needed, ensuring the department remains efficient and effective.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent years of experience.
- 10+ years of commercial roofing production experience.
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing a team.
- Proficient presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial roofing industry.
- Working knowledge and experience in the Edge estimating software preferred (Edge V12).
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a high-level of business acumen.
- Basic understanding of Florida building codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Work is performed in a hybrid, general office environment.
Less than 5% travel required.
