Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Global R&D Director to create adhesive and sealant formulations, produce laboratory samples, and assist in pilot and scale-up trials at manufacturing facilities.
  • Analyze experimental results and present findings in both written and oral formats, including technical reports and presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, defining tasks, milestones, and technical approaches while estimating costs and timelines.
  • Provide support for marketing and manufacturing, which may involve application testing and preparation of lab-scale samples.
  • Engage with manufacturing sites or clients as necessary to ensure successful trial execution and delivery of results.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Expertise in formulation design and validation, with a strong understanding of polymer materials, including polymer chemistry and processing.
  • Experience in polymer characterization and material property testing, with the ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts and technologies.
  • Familiarity with silicone, polyurethane, or silane-modified polymer materials is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from inception to scale-up, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to a diverse audience and fostering collaboration.
