We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Health Talent Pro. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing athletic training services to high school students and supporting patient care in a physician or hospital clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide coverage for home and away contests, as well as practice coverage, as determined by the athletic director and athletic trainer.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs, including the application of protective tapings, wraps, and braces.
- Assist physical therapists and physicians in the flow of patient care, including equipment maintenance and bracing/splinting.
- Market the athletic training program and Health Talent Pro within the school district and medical community.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities, handle confidential information with discretion, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine or related program.
- NYS Registration and License as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
- NATABOC Certification and BLS Certification through the RQI system.
- Minimum 21 years of age or older (per NYS Regulations).
- Preferred: 1-2 years experience as an Athletic Trainer in a high school and/or physician practice setting.
