A top commercial general contractor is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team in Austin, TX. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and creating project schedules, coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors, and other parties, and ensuring the quality of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and create project schedules
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and other parties
  • Work with the superintendent to guarantee the quality of the contract
  • Schedule and attend project meetings and final walk-throughs
  • Create project budgets, change orders, and manage cost control
  • Supervise staff and provide feedback when necessary
  • Monitor and create all required reports consistently
  • Ensure safety compliance according to policies

Requirements:

Degree in construction management or similar preferred with 3+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. Experience with P6, Procore, or Viewpoint is a plus. In-depth knowledge of contracts, materials, and scheduling is required. Familiarity with cash flow procedures is also a must.
